Meet Jules Liang. She is a licensed acupuncturist and eastern medicine guru.
We all know how hard it is to start from scratch but that's exactly what this woman did. She went back to school in her 30s to follow her heart into the world of medicine; helping people feel better without all the manufactured drugs we see on the shelves.
I was introduced to Jules through a mutual friend and we immediately hit it off. Her outlook on life and her tough love jived with everything I look for in friends.
We met up at her apartment complex's communal space and talked about what she wanted to get out of the shoot. She brought a few different outfits, a little business and a little fun and casual, a precise mix of this woman's personality. The colorful walls and decor perfectly accented her shoot to really brighten up her already illuminating smile.
